College/University Information

A majority of Denair Charter Academy graduates attend Modesto Junior College or Merced College. Our counselor works closely with students to foster a seamless transition from high school to college.

Students graduating from Denair Charter Academy are eligible to attend a junior college, technical school or trade school. Students wanting to attend a four-year university can do so after attending a junior college for completion of lower division coursework. Students can then apply for transfer to any University of California (UC), California State University (CSU), private university or out-of-state university.

Junior College Entrance Requirements

Graduation from high school, passing the CAHSEE, or reaching the minimum age of 18 years, are the only requirements for junior college admission. There are no subject or grade requirements. However, the better preparation a student has in high school, the better the chances for success at junior college.
